Welcome to God In Blog...

God in Blog is designed to be a forum where Christian writers, webmasters and bloggers can come and post information, stories and testimonies of how they have seen God work in His amazing ways through their efforts. As we navigate the virtual highways and byways, there are some great opportunities ot reach out and share the love of Christ with a hurting world.

As those who love the Lord, we know that He is at work in and around us no matter where we are or what we are doing. Let's look for where He is working and join Him in His work. The main things He needs us to be are:

1. Moldable
2. Available for His use.

So...I encourage you to post here your testimonies of how He is working through your online community, how He is guiding you to make changes and adapt to meet and minister to this world, and your personal testimonies as well. I also pray that you come back often to obtain ideas, get encouraged and fellowship with others of like faith.

I like to think of the Apostle Paul and how he would have used various technologies and media of this day to reach a lost and dying world. I can only imagine what he would have done to reach the masses for Christ! Wow, how cool that would have been to see and who knows...maybe the Lord is using/calling one of you to make that happen here and now!

Let this be the day...

Ben Stein: EXPELLED

I just returned from watching Ben Stein's new controversial movie, Expelled. This movie was made to ensure that that American people had a better understanding of both secular view of the origins of life including Darwinism, Neo-Darwinism, intelligent Design and Creation. There are proponents on each side of the equation, who adamantly adhere to their own beliefs and understanding of how life started on earth.

Ben Stein took a somewhat lighthearted approach to engage academia from both sides of the fence, to get their opinions, ideas, beliefs and understandings on the table. Mr. Stein interviewed many doctors and professors of universities, biological scientists, and population geneticists from around the globe.

In my opinion, the movie was very well done and outlined the belief systems and the contemporary views of both Darwinistic evolution and Intelligent Design (ID). Both sides had a great opportunity to voice their opinions and answer questions related to their beliefs and scientific evidence for each.

It was interesting to see the concerted effort to "expel" Intelligent Design proponents from the scientific community. There were several scientists who were employed at very high level positions that had the audacity to say that Intelligent Design should at least be considered as there is as much, if not more, evidence for the plausibility of ID than there is for the theory of evolution. However, even with the evidence, ID scientists are being shunned, ostracized, fired and harassed for their positions.

There really is no such thing as an "ID scientist"

ID is a religious hypothesis - not a scientific theory. It will always remain an hypothesis since there is no way of testing it or of seeking evidence for its veracity.

Evolutionary theory, on the other hand, is both testable and researchable for evidence.

Blogging on a subject like this means that you really need to think through the claims that you make. The movie was a laughable series of disinformations and everyone that I know, and I do mean everyone, was amused at its silliness and horrified at its blatant lying.
